The Dark Knight has 16 bloopers


Washington (ANI): It took in a whopping 440 million dollars at movie theatres in just the first 10 days of its release, but that doesn't mean that director Christopher Nolan's movie The Dark Knight was perfect. The Batman Begins sequel has become a box office smash worldwide, but with cinemagoers spotting 16 bloopers in it, it has become one of the most mistake-ridden films of the year (08), Contactmusic reported.

Observant visitors to website MovieMistakes.com have noted a variety of continuity errors and historical inaccuracies in the Christian Bale starring blockbuster. The current Batman movie has more errors than 2005's Batman Begins, with the older movie having 12 mistakes.

The errors include characters' altering hairstyles, mis-matched audio, and an additional police truck magically appearing in a car chase scene.However, taking the cake for most mistakes made is the movie 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull'.

The Harrison Ford-starring film currently holds the top spot for the movie with the most errors so far this year (08), it features a whopping 40 bloopers.

Washington (ANI): New mum Jennifer Lopez is set to return to the silver screen with romantic comedy 'The Governess'. The story revolves around a professional thief who, in order to pull off a major bank heist, poses as a nanny to the three unruly children of a wealthy widower.

When she starts to fall for the kids and their father, she must decide if she can give up her past for a chance to start over, reports Variety. Director Nigel Cole will helm the project, while Bob Yari will produce along with Sid Ganis, Alex Siskin and Simon Fields, Lopez' producing partner.

Yari Film Group has recently finished production on thriller "Nothing But the Truth," comedy "The Maiden Heist" and drama "Real Men Cry."

Washington (ANI): When it comes to filming sex scenes in movies, Sir Ben Kingsley insists that his female co-stars take the lead - because he doesn't want them to feel awkward about the staged intimacy.

The actor has paired up with many a pretty ladies, the most recent being Penelope Cruz in 'Elegy'. He admits that he lets his leading ladies choreograph the love scenes, reports Contactmusic.

"Whenever I have the privilege of having a great leading lady, I do ask my leading lady, 'I want you to choreograph the scene, I want you to be comfortable... and whatever you feel enhances your character and your narrative in the film... I will not lead the dance,''" he says. And, Sir Ben insists that the move works 'beautifully'.

"It seems to work beautifully. It gives them a security and a confidence. They know they''re not going to be molested, they know that they''re in charge," he added.

London (ANI): Actress Sienna Miller's private parts have reportedly been enhanced digitally for her upcoming film 'Hippie Hippie Shake'. Sources have revealed that the nude scenes Miller has done in the film required a hairy body, which she did not have. The producers finally took the aid of digital technology to fulfil the requirement.

"The film is set in the swinging 60s when fashion was wild and body hair even wilder. The only slight problem being that she's very much a girl of the Noughties and this extends to her personal upkeep," the Mirror quoted an insider as saying.

"A merkin or pubic wig simply wouldn't have done the trick, but luckily computer wizardry came to the rescue. Sienna's private parts were digitally enhanced, giving her a rather unruly, loud and proud bush," the source added. Miller plays her role as 60s publisher Richard Neville's girlfriend, Louise, in the film. Starring alongside her are Cillian Murphy and Derek Jacobi.

Washington (ANI): Pamela Anderson was the original choice to play Agent Dana Scully in 'The X-Files'. Gillian Anderson, who eventually landed and made famous the role of the FBI special agent, has said that Twentieth Century Fox, the producers of the hit TV show, had wanted to cast blonde beauty instead of her.

"That was somebody (Pamela Anderson) who was more familiar to them in terms of what was on TV at the time," Contactmusic quoted her, as saying. "They were looking for someone bustier, taller, leggier than me. They couldn't fathom how David and me could equal success...

"At the beginning, nobody trusted that I could do anything. I had no body of work behind me at all, and, certainly Fox felt very strongly that I wasn't the right person for the job," she added.
